During my 35 year practice I've realized tai chi not only improves physical balance but it also creates an inner journey that initiates healing on all levels: emotional, mental and spiritual. My program is more than a path to wellness ~ it's a LIFESTYLE statement. At this time in my life I'm instructing people over fifty who want to be proactive in creating and maintaining radiant health.

While living in the British Virgin Islands, I had the pleasure of teaching Dr. Benjamin Spock, who was then eighty-seven. He was my first enlightener. It became apparent the word senior is an off-the-cuff expression that doesn't reveal the accrued wisdom and knowledge of our society's elders. This is why I refer to my students as enlighteners. It's an uplifting description for those of us over fifty.

A few years ago my students suggested I write a book and produce a DVD so they could have a teacher "at home" on a daily basis. The Tai Chi for Enlighteners™ seed was planted. As I birthed this program I've embarked on yet another sacred journey. Tai chi is more than moving the body. It can touch our souls. Tai chi is an amazing pathway to infinite discoveries.
