  • the sound is so quiet. its hard to compare....

  • @MrVanillepudding search "sadowsky onboard preamp review terrykumar" - the most recent one. :)

  • Is the Sadowsky Preamp better than Aguilar Tone Hammer?

  • i dont know, you gotta try yourself. the sadowsky has very good warm tone but aguilar has overdrive etc which obviously have different purpose.

  • Are you playing through the stock Seymour Duncans that came with the bass?

  • Yep. But its with sadowsky humcancelling pickups now. I really like the tone though, it really brings that mid-potato fender when you slap it. really vintage.

  • It's great!

  • Sounds Great

  • Depends what you after. EBS is more versatile, while the sadowsky DI has its own character and more narrow.

  • Great Preamp! Do you think it better than EBS Micro Bass DI?
