Everyone is gaga for this special lady and she is easily one of the most talked about newcomers to date. But truth be told, Lady Gaga's been working on her career for many years. Gaga, whose real name is Joanne Stefani Germanotta was born and raised in Manhattan and ultimately studied at NYU's famed Tisch School for the Arts. While attending the University, the songstress began attracting attention after penning songs for Britney Spears and groups like The Pussycat Dolls.

Gaga's own career hit the big time with Her song "Just Dance." The hypnotizing track has taken the pop and dance music world's by storm! It's currently tearing up charts across the globe and fans may be surprised to know that the young singer wrote the track in only ten minutes. Music veteran and multiple Grammy award winner John Mayer admits to being affected by Gaga's music and says that after listening to the song you can almost smell it...not exactly sure what that means, but it's an interesting opinion.

As amazing as Gaga's voice is, she is possibly getting more attention for her fashion choices and the clothes she chooses to wear---or NOT wear. Her tour is being referred to a a pant less tour. But Gaga says there is in fact a reason for her extreme approach to fashion. Rolling Stone reports that Gaga stated that her grandmother who is basically blind can only make out very light colors, like her skin and bleach-blonde hair. So, she says she'll continue to wear no pants so that her grandma can see her. Talk about putting your family first.

After the success of her first video, Gaga is following up with the retro-inspired vid for her track "Eh Eh (Nothing Else I can Say)." In the video Gaga plays up several sexy, and of course pant less looks, and you get lots of references to her Italian heritage. The video is sure to catch the eyes of male admirers, but be warned that Lady Gaga says she has no time to date or even care about love. Her main priority is her art.
