Here's my theory.
The first half is a decent, but quite average, linear quest path.
The second half is an objectiveless, challengeless mess.
I hope Peter will realise that players want to see an end result of their actions, not just a big changing sandbox. We need to feel like there is structure and a story to follow, and that how we behave will shape the surrounding of that story. But the sandbox cannot be the story. We need structure.

He sounds kind of drunk. Plus peter hypes his games far too much, it does sound pretty, but so did fable 2, and that was disapointing-ish.
