  • This was the last time NBC covered any football game at the Rose Bowl Stadium, having used to cover the Rose Bowl game itself for decades before it moved to ABC and later ESPN

  • I wish the NFL would have waited another decade before implementing the salary cap. I wanted to see how many Super Bowls the Dallas Cowboys could have won had they had a chance to keep their team together like the 80's niners, 70's Steelers, 60's Packers, and 50's Browns. The Cowboys won 2 then barely squeezed out a third in 1995 before the roster got totally watered down. Oh yeah, and I wish Jimmy had been able to stay because he could evaluate talent very well and keep re-loading the roster.
