SPOILERS AHEAD:. why did they show the old Lady committing a crime. It confuses the whole plot. For what i understood, None of them was the devil, Devil was there in the lift with them and only apeared in the end in the body of one of the victoms.

I haven't seen this film and I guess it was the old woman? It seem the obvious person. The young lady is being attack, and so you wouldn't choose her as its a stupid plot twist. White Men have been blame too much in films so too easy again. The Black man is for the racist heartland Southern to blame but clearly he's not as seen in the trailer. So it leave the old white woman who you not purpose to suspect as she is so quiet and cause the less problems.
