A very good idea to develop other areas into modern cities, this way the country and people will have more equal opportunities to prosper. If you take developed nations they have 5-10 modern cities, hence the reason why those countries have more advanced societies , and better thinking citizens. So lets not limit the development to only Colombo Kandy... take it as far as possible. Cheers !!

@trehan25 Let me add my two cents to your argument.  It is also a good idea to develop northern and eastern parts of the county to complements what is taking place in Colombo and south.

@arun9426 Be aware, this isn't dream all project are ongoing and some of the project like suriya wewa international Cricket ground completed, rest of the project schedule to finish before 2018.cheer up Dude Sri Lanka is on roll....!
