Thanks for sharing Nia. I have had a very similar experience, and once in a while I give myself the go ahead to eat & enjoy whatever I want. The result is always uncomfortable and reminds me to stick to the basics which are almost exactly the same as yours.

Good points::
1) Since people are different experiment & do what works for you (I'll add: Sometimes people are afraid to experiment around but tell that to Thomas Edison!)
2) It's possible to stop using strict guidelines & get results
I will add this:
a) You need sufficient calories to function well. (Don't starve yourself)
b) You may think you look fat but get a 2nd or 3rd opinion
c) Being healthy is more important than what the scale says
d) Nia lifts heavy & DOESN'T 'look like a man.'
