To all the people that are saying this film made white people look evil, get a reality check.Do you realize in the time period of the KKK a majority of whites WERE evil?It didn't make *all whites look evil according to Matthew McConaughey,Ashley Judd,and Sandra Bullock's characters.

ALL humans are partial to their own kids, their home team, their country, their own race....Negroes, Asians, Caucasians. It's natural.
If you have to picture a victimized girl as from YOUR home town, as your OWN little girl, of your OWN race, etc. in order to do the RIGHT thing, so be it. It's called loving your neighbor. America needs more of it.
