@hatersjustshutup I understand it would do a great job for pianists with small hands. But he has so damn big hands, could have pull the original score off easily!

He had HUGE hands. Amazing playing, but why did he cheat the left hand octaves at the end by omitting one or two octaves?

Hi yes I have his Rach 3 (both the commercial release on CD [Rene Gailly] as well as the TV broadcast from the competition finals). btw, a snippet of the Rach 3 video is available here:-
