It sounds really extremely robotic the way it is now. It feels like listening to Cher :). I personally would prefer a version which is not so good in pitch without that annoying roboticness.
And if you think you really have to do that pitch-correction stuff on the final result. I advise you to use at least another program. Are you using Autopitch? AFAIK The roboticness introduced by use of Melodyne's correction is not that extreme at all.

cool man! Keep them coming, and slowly reduce the pitch correction as you get more comfortable with the recording!

Thanks, man! :D
That's the plan...in copious "free time"!

It sounds nice, but somewhat robotic to me. Did you use pitch correction or some effects on your voice?

Ooooooh yea. I have a good ear, but 'meh' control - especially on lead and bari. The pitch correction has a bit of a learning curve and is more art than science. I'm hoping to finally get to where you won't be able to tell too much, both by gaining some vocal control and lightening up on my touch with the techno-gizmos. :)
You think THIS is bad, my first one nearly sounds like a kazoo!

I advise you the following procedure: Record a first shot of each track, pitch-correct everything 100% and then re-record everything while listening to the pitch-corrected version, trying to match it as close as possible in terms of intonation. This way you'll have a well pitched version without any pitch-correction on it.

Great idea...and one I've used a bit (hence less correcting this time)! ;) Still have the control issues. That's just a matter of practice and training.
