This is one I have been wanting to do for years. Its a beautiful instrumental released only on the live Circles In The Stream album, from '77 I believe. There are other rare live performances out there. The tune is in Drop D, capo 2. Signal chain is Martin OMC through Behringer large condenser mic mixed with a small amount of undersaddle pickup into an Apogee Duet. From there via Firewire into the Macbook Pro, recorded directly with Quicktime then imported into iMovie to add the letterbox effect and tweak the audio by scooping the mids and adding just a *touch* of reverb. I know its not perfect, but enjoy!

  • Wow, very well done. You're doing a great job of keeping the bass note going with your thumb, just like Bruce.

Saw BC last week in Montreal and got the chance to say hello and shake his hand. Seems like a truly genuine down-to-earth guy.......

  • @normy999 Thanks for the kind words!! I have always hung behind at his concerts, but have never been lucky enough to get to meet him... always had it in my head if I could just shake his hand, that might transfer some of the magic :-P

  • well done Adam!

I have some of your tabs and now i am happy to see you play this tune .

I heard it about 33 years ago and from then i "fell in love" with BC's music...

I would like to play it, but it is too difficult for me...

  • @micallo58 Thanks for the nice words! Let me know if you want the tabs for this one too! Part of it is difficult, but much of it is not so bad. Let me know if you have any questions, i think if I can do it, anyone can!

  • This is really feelgood music. Sounds like what we used to call "Travelin' music" back when... beautiful!

  • @pyavner How's the volume? Seems a bit quiet, wonder if i shouldn't tweak the volume and reupload?
