Very rare outake from 1965 ,the great Georgie Fame's take on the Earl Van Dyke classic Mod mover "Soul Stomp". More than inspired by the great Earl Van Dyke himself , Georgie toured the UK in early 1965 with the Motown revue in a vain effort to boost flagging ticket sales ! Amazing considering the line up ,Earl van Dyke ,Supremes , Vandellas and the Miracles !! Once read Smokey saying that " from three rows back ,each and every night, there was row upon row of empty seats". Still, betrays his influences and cements his stature in Mod circles.
