@CaptainRobau po syroi zemle probably means "on your land" or yeah literal translation across your land/soil; the land represents like a land of your nations etc. hard to... describe in english heh... (in my language "po svoji zemlji".)

@kojotekkk - I don't remember anything from my Russian classes anymore, but "po syroi zemle" would mean something like "across the raw soil" (raw as in freshly upturned, like by plowing). I can't catch the lyrics though, it's too fast for me. Only a general idea from the few familiar words: rivers and mountains of the Mother Earth, the sun rising to wake up the sleeping, tears across the raw soil, old faith, grandfathers, sons of the light, sisters of the night. (?)
Sounds like a good song. :-)
