Sonancias for 21 instruments is a "ballet" on the music of the work SONANCIAS III for 2 pianos and 2 percussions by Marlos Nobre. This present ballet was presented on April 1,2 & 4 April 2009, at the event "Awaken/Shift" at the Arts & Sciences Auditorium of the University of Woming, USA. Choreography: Marsha Fay Knight; Assistant Choreographer: Nikki Canete; Musicians: Dr. Rúbia Santos, Dr. Teresa Bogard (pianos) & Jesse Lee (student) and Kirk Bob Stonecipher (percussions).
Dancers: Katelynn Metzger, with Katherine Adams, Brittany Arnold, Anna Billings, Jaime Lyn Boxer, Katrina Despain, Tiffany Forester, Corey Foster, Lindsey Hall, Kirsten Johson, Kristin Kissell, Cory Klements, Niki Kraft, Anne Morabito, Lindsay Marquino, Christian Munck, Kathryn Rochelle, Ashlie Smith, Stuart Speckner, Stephanie Thomas and Tiffany Young.
