I'm strongly considering purchasing one of these and compare it to my mpc 2000. I keep reading about the 909 and like the fact that it comes with sounds and you can play chords on it. Might have to get it.

so why did you switch to reason? I have reason but it's something about the beat machine feature that I'm not too crazy about.
