International award winning director David Sington tells the story of the credit bubble which caused the financial crisis, which has brought suffering to millions. Forsaking easy explanations of greedy bankers and incompetent regulators, this film goes to the roots of the forces which caused America and the UK to be gripped by the crazy belief that everyone could be rich and property prices would rise for ever. David has been making award-winning films for twenty years. David's last feature documentary, In the Shadow of the Moon, which told the story of the Apollo astronauts, became one of the best-reviewed cinema releases of 2007.

@mrblack61 Thanks, I shan't bother watching it then. If they forgot to mention how banks create money then they missed the point :( Glad to hear there are others out there trying to let people know about this scam: the banks have got away with it for too long!

@orangejon i dont think so, i managed to watch half of it before i fell asleep. The 'flaw' in our system is allowing private commercial banks to issue and control our money supply through bank credit.
Henry Ford put it like this:-
"It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning!"
Get learning people!
