  • I first met Derek in the 80ths and I loved his voice from the beginning. He was the best ballad singer ever and he was very nice person. R I P Derek. God be with you.

  • Can't begin to tell you how much I love this song, I don't think anyone could ever sing it better than Derek, so sad he has passed away, but his music will live on for ever.

  • Derek McCormac is my great uncle, he sang "Cavan Girl" at my grandmothers funeral. God rest his soul.
