Why is it I downloaded both the Mame emulator, extracted the Mortal Kombat rom into the folder and it STILL doesn't work....saying "files not found" and shit.

You're not supposed to extract it. Keep it in the ZIP file.

@awesomeriki You can make your (mouse cursor) anything u want really. Just search the internet for cusor types. you install them under the windows directory in the cursor folder, then go into mouse settings and change the pointer. Instead of an hourglass here on my pc, I've got the rainbow spinner that Macs use cuase I Yoinked it off the internet. Enjoy

I've been using MAME since 1997/v.27 & know my way around, but, I screwed something up good & can't fix it. Although I have/use the latest versions, I still love MAME32 .95. You know how you hit [TAB] to bring up the menu? Then Input (general) & user Interface? Config Menu setting (formerly enabled by pressing [TAB]) was somehow changed. [TAB] no longer brings up the menu. I tried changing it in the MAME32.ini file, but can't find it or know what to change. Anybody have some advice/help?

Seems the newer version of mame is not so handy. I reconment the older version. Now my games aren't working anymore on the latest release.
