Judging by the way it moves and that the 6 legs are at the front of the body its not a beetle it's a kind of caterpillar

@dinodude36 Sure, but they are "actual beetles" before the metamorphose too. There are plenty of trilobite beetles that turn into something more recognizable (ie, the Lampyridae family) but this is a special case of one that does not metamorphose. It's a conceptual problem: we also say a chicken comes out of an egg, but we don't say the egg is the chicken before it hatches: even though, clearly, the idea of "egg" also includes the chicken inside.
