  • Isn't it kind of odd to call a technique that relies on depression "Lion's Roar Blast"? Wouldn't it be more appropriate to call it "Wounded Lion's Roar Blast"?

  • @gilgamesh255 I completely agree!

  • what eps is this?

  • Season 6, Episode 6

  • Episode 141.

    season 7 episode 5

  • I'm not sure about that, what's that episode's name?

  • I like seeing episodes where Ranma loses

  • @Mysteria9 The name of this episode is "From the Depths of Despair Part One".

  • @LordGosai but, then rember, rama has a stronger attack the hiriu soten ha

  • @JVGuide True, although Ranma often seems to win his fights with the bare minimum force he needs (unless you've done gone and ticked him off). So even if I am wrong about how easy it would be to take a chunk from his confidence... he certainly wouldn't have much motivation to use it in a fight he's winning convincingly.

  • @Artencot Because the anime ended too soon. In the manga, he not only use it afterward, but also created the double shot revision and used it as the finisher against Herb, creating a revision of the Hiryu Shoten Ha.

  • @LordGosai

It only get weaken if Ranma lost his confidence or the belief that he can win.

Consider he managed to keep his confidence and believed he can win even when fighting Herb, who clearly overpowered him, an even fight is not going to depower Moko Takabisha.

Hell, Hinako can steamroll everyone in the NWC short of Happo or Cologone, and Ranma shot dual blasts from his hip when fighting her.

And in an even or upstream fight, Moko Takabisha will provide him with range and burst damage.

  • Eh? Which episode is this?

  • LMAO "He'll miss breakfast!"

  • @Artencot Probably because the more even the fight is, the less powerful the Moko Takabisha would end up. And if he's got enough edge to make a powerful version of the attack, he doesn't really need to use it.

On the other hand, the more desperate Ryoga gets the more powerful the Shi Shi Hokodan becomes.

  • i rember ranmas version,it uses his pride, but after he used it the first time,he's never botherd to use it agian,i wonder why?
