What's the story with Lemuiex? Is he in general a jerk or something, cuz it seemed that the red wing had a lot of hate against him! Attacking him like that, dragging of his helmet and beating him when his down! haha I love Roy and Forsberg!

n Game 6 of the 1996 Western Conference Finals, Avalanche right wing Lemieux checked Draper from behind, driving Draper's face into the boards.

The hit sent Draper out of the game and into the hospital with a broken jaw, shattered cheek and orbital bone, which required reconstructive surgery involving his jaw being wired shut and numerous stitches.

Seeing that and other clips has somehow given me a hint of what kind of guy Lemieux is.. The highest level of irritating guy, who does things like this, but yet doesn't really stand up for his actions, at the same time thinking he is tough.. like a spoiled baby or something that doesn't see the reality that he's just scum when he do things like this

guys, i think its obvious. mccarty did get in front of lemuiex, but he didnt see it comming. it may have been a cheapshot, but this was revenge for what lemuiex did to draper. its called getting even. lemuiex's hit was just as bad as mccarty's.
