  • Thank you for uploading this good performance and making such a wonderful slideshow to go with it. I usually ignore the images added to classical music on youtube, but your portraits somehow make me feel I know Liszt better now. Thank you.

  • @TabletAether You're very welcome. I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

  • THIS is one of the greatest pieces of romantic music which has EVER been composed. With respect to its immensely grand finale, only Beethoven himself can compare.

  • wonderful music....... i think Liszt gets to be one of my favourite classic composers

  • i am 12 years old and what is this

  • Beautyful! I proud to be a Hungarian man. I love this work.

  • Wonderful performance! Thank you!

  • This makes a good soundtrack to almost anything

  • @Porojukaha Franz von Liszt is Austro Hungarian, and remember that the XIX century Hungary had a very high percentage of Germans and also historically since conversion to Christianity there has been an enormous inflow of Germans into the Kingdom of Hungary, so believe me Liszt is no untermensch:-) And this music is good.

  • @TupadrePancho Really, I thought that HItler listened exclusively to German composers. List being a Hungarian, obviously would not meet that qualification. I know that Wagner was his favorite. In any case I wish I had a time machine and the ability to go back and force Hitler to listen to some Snoop Dogg or 50 Cent. I feel like that would have tortured him more than anything else in the world.

  • Just found out this song was Hitlers choice for operation Barbarosa. Wicked mind no doubt about it.

  • Καὶ βέβαια.
