Part 1-- Small portion missing due to news coverage. Summary: Bo, Gigi, and Rex are on speaker phone with Brody's Navy SEAL buddy Wes. Just as Wes is about to tell them why Brody killed an Iraqi boy, a cop reports they found Brody's car on Llantano Mountain. Bo hangs up on Wes and rushes out, followed closely by Gigi and Rex. In the car, Gigi blames herself for this whole mess.

On Llantano Mountain, Brody's having a very tough time separating reality (hiding out with Shane) from his war experience (shooting an Iraqi boy, who it turns out was armed, forcing Brody's commanding officer to order Brody to shoot). Shane starts noticing how weird Brody's acting, but he keeps asking if he can shoot the gun. Brody gets lucid for a moment, snatches the gun away from Shane, and hugs Shane so hard, he scares the kid. Before Brody can explain himself to Shane, they're surrounded by the cops!

Pandemonium breaks loose. Gigi and Rex start yelling at Brody as Bo tries to take control of the situation. The cops have itchy fingers and keep telling Bo they have a clear shot of Brody. Shane's terrified as Brody struggles to stay clearheaded but keeps having bad flashbacks to his time in Iraq. Bo reaches Brody just long enough for Brody to give Shane to Gigi, but having Gigi yell at him just sends Brody into more flashbacks. The scene is so chaotic, with everyone screaming; Brody's so far gone at this point that he no longer knows what he's doing or where he is. He starts reliving that awful moment when he was ordered to kill the Iraqi boy and ... BAM! A shot rings out!

Janet (Marty's nurse) finds Todd with a bunch of photos, including one of Marty and John, which he rips in half, discarding the John part. Todd shares a pic of Starr, which makes Janet all weepy because she's estranged from her daughter and family. Janet recognizes a photo of Viki, and she reminds Todd how lucky he is to have family.

At the courthouse, Blair asks Cole and Markko to take Langston and Starr home while she tries to bail Dorian out of jail. At La Boulaie, Markko holds Langston and promises no one will take her away from him. Langston blames herself; if she didn't want to get to know her uncle so badly, maybe he wouldn't have petitioned to adopt her.

Cole and Starr are awkward around each other, but they rally together for Langston's sake. Cole offers to be a friend to Starr, but it's still really tense between them, so Cole leaves. And when he gets home, he sees none other than Ray -- shaking hands with Clint.

Clint's positively giddy over Dorian's distress. Ray, on the other hand, seems a little uncomfortable with the whole situation, but still willing to go along with it.

In Colombia, a guard leads John to Cristian's cell, but it's empty! John shoves the guard against the wall, thinking he's being played, but the warden swoops in. He points a gun at John and tells him to leave. John realizes he's getting nowhere and splits.
