The military budget has for too long been treated too differently from other federal spending. If budget hawks are serious about cutting spending overall, it's time to take a serious look at the military budget. So says Grover Norquist, president of Americans for Tax Reform.

Romney pumps his chest and touts huge Military, Grover is just the opposite. Who wins this battle?

Elect Romney and you have America's First Supreme Leader; Grover Norquist and a "puppet" president Mitt Romney. Grover Norquist would become the most powerful Muslim man in the world!! The problem is Norquist is associating Conservatives with Republicans. Very different things these days. Republicans are every bit as large government as the Democrats. Simply on different issues.

Dwight Eisenhower is credited with keeping the military budget down. But he ran a peacetime military budget at a larger % of GDP then we have since Reagan.
