This is the episode where they celebrate the welcome of 1986. We have John Dixon throwing a party, Sierra & Craig are engaged, Spoiled Lily starts to have feelings for Holden but fight them, Barbara,Shannon/Brian Triangle, The setup for Barbara and Tom in NYC, as the well the continuing saga of Douglas Cummings storyline, Marie Covac has been killed and Marsha Talbot was attached as the plot thickens!

  • This was Douglas Marland's first Christmas with with ATWT. He was the best thing to happen to the show-God rest his soul.

  • The years of 1985/86 were definitely magical back then. Very good storylines and such colorful characters. One minor flaw was the ever growing population of the boring Snyder clan.

  • I'm usually pretty quick, but I don't understand Lucinda's dis to John. What did he stand to gain from Sierra knowing about her mother?

  • Yes, thank you. But Marie Kovac was the name of the character. That New Year's Eve party at La Walsh's house had so many secrets going on at it. I do wish I could see more of the show from both 1985/1986 than I'm currently at this time (or at least so far).
