  • @MythOfEchelon not really ... there's still Stage3D for mobiles which should change everything, but it seems to be far a head, so I'll start creating a tutorial and some easy to use classes.

  • @AmmarFlash I think it's settled at CS5.5 and AIR 3 now though. Now's the time to do it! :)

    I'm not particularly a fan of using other peoples work. I refuse to use the jQuery library, for example, because it just feels like plagiarism to me.

  • @5ender at the cost of more memory usage, possibility of memory leaks (which may lead to crashes) and more CPU-usage. BTW can you send me your bitmap cacheing code?

  • Draw everything to bitmaps bro and then cache them. Thats what I had to do and now I'm able to draw 200+ animated moving objects on the screen at 25-40fps
