So much respect for african footballing countries like Ghana, Nigeria etc.... SO passionate with great fans and some very talented football players. I know 4 Ghanaians who i went to college with who are now deservedly pro in Sweden. In Countries like Nigeria etc; football is all they have. So pay them respect when they put in so much hard work with what little resources they have and with how tough their lives can be. Look how much it means to them when you next watch them on TV.

Youth championships are one thing and the main adult World Cup another. African teams are very talented and capable at youth levels yet for some reason that hasn't yet translated in success at the main stage. It should happen though. AFAIK it's local African federations (the men in suits) f-ing up. By the way, you all know where that De Gea kid is playing next year, right?
