here are some tips for this level! At the start, long jump to the right, and long jump again to those yellow tiles. Use long jumps to collect the long stream of coins, get all the coins on that green patch, and then long jump back and get the other long stream of coins. Work your way up to the top-right corner, collecting as many coins as possible, and then to the top left corner. Then work your way back towards the start, and you should get 100 purple coins en route. HOpe that helps! ^_^

I actually have to side with BadNumbers. You just get the ability to control Luigi after collecting all 120 stars. Nothing plot related, no huge surprises. You just play as Luigi. And it's optional to play as him even or to even collect all the stars in the first place.
