The House unveiled a healthcare reform bill that will impose a tax increase on America's top 1%. While the GOP is up in arms over this, the younger generation who is relying on healthcare reform couldn't care less about America's aristocracy. This highlights the growing generational gap in America's Republican Party, and shows that they have gotten so out of touch with the young voters that their own future could be in jeopardy. Mike Papantonio appears on Fox Business's Happy Hour to talk about the issue.

  • One more hot airhead rightwing stripper/'newscaster' on Fox. She doesn't want the govt dipping into her Bunny Ranch money.

  • @imaginepeace63 a word of advice to sara palin; having children after the age of 40 increases your chance of trisomy 21 significantly. since she is faith based person, scientific stat doesn't mean anything to her.

  • @killerbandit reagan was the most anti-middle class president in recent time.

  • Pain-lins beauty is skin deep

  • 70% is low, trust me. it was over 90% when roosevelt left office and led to the creation of a distinct middle class in this country. he had two wars to pay for and a collapsed economy at home. sound familiar? we've allowed 95% of the wealth of this nation become posessed by LESS than 1% of the population. Is that 1% PRODUCING all that wealth? No. Are they the true innovators of society? No. They're just greedy and we need to take the money back by higher wages for workers & higher tax on wealth.

  • Sex sells, and if you give the men a boner, they'll vote for whatever you want. They love Sarah Palin because she's hot, and stupid- every ego-smashed man's dream woman.

  • Yes, you would think the evidence is written all over our economy. The problem is that the vast majority of Americans don't understand the economy at all, they're just confused and scared, which makes them easy to anger.

The repubs have been masters at getting poor people to vote against their own well-being, and I don't think the general population is going to suddenly get smarter.

  • Well said Kate! Medicare for everyone, with dental and eyecare added, which is the Conyers Bill now in the House, is the best solution. Lets stop playing with the insurance scam industry.

  • Yeah, it goes to investment overseas or into money manipulation schemes...Bottom up and pump priming is the best method as FDR taught us.
