  • Under the new judo rules this throw is now illegal.

  • in a real situation a te guruma can finish the fight without effort. it's all about the landing.

  • @WarJudoka definitely not true! Example: You can still use it as a counterattack for example against uchi-mata. The direct attack of the leg with the hand is forbidden, not this technic.

  • he still uses that wheel as a wrestling expression as to how to finish a double-leg takedown

  • IF YOU WANT TO DO THIS THROW DO KOUCHI GARI AND FEED THE LEG TO YOUR HAND THEN GO FOR IT.!!!

  • I´m sure its not. The guy is attackig hand at first :) Morote gari is illegal. check out the differences..

  • Its horse stance, not squat stance.

    Just saying.

  • @WarJudoka not when its a counter-attack

  • as shown in the beginning it IS LEGAL cause uke made a cross guard grip on his own. and this is the third possibility form leg graps: counter, combination and cross guard (not if tori makes the grip with "diving" like at 0:55) so u can still do this

  • @WarJudoka not as counter or combination

  • @WarJudoka no, you can do this in 2 way 1- when you block uchi mata 2- if there is a cross grip

  • I think its still leagal from this position, when the hand goes across his head like that, when he grabs "Russian style" :P
