Wait For You // A Nelena Movie [PART 2]

PART 2
My day at school is pretty damn boring, but to get a college degree it's what I have to go through. I walk outside expecting to see my Mercedes there, but then I remember that it broke down. Taylor went off to work so I'm basically stranded at USC, I try calling Demi, she picks up and I hear a lot of noise in the background.

"Hey Demi, what's with the noise?" I ask sitting on a bench.
"Ohh, Nick and his brother Joe took me to the mall," she replies as I hear a customer complaining in the background.
"Ohhh...BUT WHO'S TAKING CARE OF ALEX?" I begin to freak as I stand up and my heart begins to pound.
"Oh you see, I was about to bring him but then Nick would ask questions...," she explains.
"Demi just tell me WHO?" I ask desperate;ly.
"I told Vanessa to babysit him," she lets out a deep sigh.
"Vanessa, the one that lives on the penthouse floor?" I ask calming myself since I'm pretty close with V.
"Yup, that's the one!" she exclaims.
"Ok so...I'm kinda stuck at school, can you guys pick me up?" I question her.
"Ok lemme just get Nick."
"N-no-no!!" I exclaim not wanting to hear his arrogant voice.
"Nick on the line," he says.
"Yea, just pick me up," I simply state.
"Oh no please?" I hear Joe let out a laugh from behind.
"Fine...please!" I reply frustrated.
"Oh no that didn't seem like a nice "please"," Nick explains.
"Ok can you pick me up PLEASE?" I say.
"Alrighty I'm on my way to the car right now," he replies and I hang up.

Five minutes later, a shopping bag filled Lexus pulls up in front of me. Nick honks his horn, and I come forward getting into the back seats.

"How many things did you purchase!?" I exclaim.
"You know just the basics...shoes, sweaters, this cute little cardigan that-," I cut Demi off.
"Ok I think I got the picture," I say pushing a H & M out of my way.
"Off to your condo right?" Nick asks driving out of the parking lot.
"You know where I live?" I ask him shocked.
"Demi told me," Nick replies beginning to drive onto the main street.
"Oh go figure," I say eyeing Demi at the corner of my eye.

Finally, we arrive at our condo, and helping Demi with her mountainous load of shopping bags, we make our way up to our floor. Nick and Joe quietly follow, and they enter our condo, as if they were invited guests.

"Don't you have somewhere to be?" I ask placing my jacket on a hook.
"No not really...," Nick replies making himself comfortable on the couch.
"Oh my gosh what's this!?" Joe asks playing a figure atop a stack of papers.
"It's a paperweight...," I say rolling my eyes afterwards.
"Cool condo you've got, do you have a guest room?" Nick asks standing up and snooping around through the open doors.
"No, and if you wouldn't mind I'd like you to leave," I tell him pulling on his shirt collar and dragging him into the hallway.
"You too Joe!" I say grabbing his wrist and pushing him out.
"What no goodbye hug?" Nick asks his arms open wide.
"Hmm...nope!" I slam the door but strangely it won't close.

I look down and see Nick's foot in between the door and the threshold. I look at him to see him grinning, trying to hide the pain the slam caused.

"Sorry!" I exclaim.
"Uhm it's ok...," he says quinting his eyes in pain,"Can I still my hug?"
"Ummm...," I ponder for a moment and I hug him for a quick two seconds,"'Kay have a good day!"
"Bye Selena," Nick smiles at me and begins to walk to the elevator.

Joe presses the down arrow and when the elevator opens, I see Taylor come out.

"Hey haven't seen you guys around...," he says.
"Yea whatever...," Joe enters the elevator and holds it for Nick.
"So what were you doing on this floor?" Taylor asks seeing that I had my door open.
"Saying goodybe to that girl right there," Nick smiles and points at me and I slap my forehead with the palm of my hand. He enters the elevator and I watch it close behind Taylor.
"You know him!?" Taylor exclaims going up to me.
"Yea yea yea old friends nothing much to worry about," I reply nervously and I hug him.
"Hey...where's Alex?" Taylor asks pulling away.
"Ohh shit!!" I grab my cellphone and head out to the elevator to go upstairs.
"Did I miss something?" Taylor asks going inside my condo.
"Ohh man you've missed a shit load of things," Demi replies as she observes the fish in the big aquarium.
