Taser officers should be prosecuted: Polish official

RCMP officers involved in the fatal Taser takedown of a Polish immigrant at Vancouver International Airport should be prosecuted for their "excessively brutal and unjustified" actions, a spokesman for the Polish Foreign Ministry said.

Let's be honest, none of you really know what actually constitutes excessive force. You may have an opinion but from your posts I can tell you that you're dead wrong. People die quite commonly from what's called POSITIONAL ASPHYXIA, whereby the position in which a person is restrained causes them to asphyxiate. There are very few ways of preventing this when someone is fighting, assuming that the officers are actually trained up on this. And police use knees on back of necks quite frequently.
