This is a Waverley depot bus. Can't remember the bus number but it is an 0405NH CNG doing the outbound run from Circular QUay to North Bondi via St Vincents Hospital, Paddington & Bondi Junction Interchange. The 389 is the most serviced bus route in Sydney. The trip normally goes for about 45-50 mins depending on the time of day. This particular took 56 mins due to some of the traffic in Oxford St, Bondi. It was a sunny January morning, was pretty busy, but 389's always are. Most of the stopping has been edited out and the finished product is 35 mins long in 3 parts. I am the bus driver. As you can hear there is an annoying kid on the bus towards the start of the trip. If you are a regular passenger you might recognise that the trips were being diverted through Crown St on the outbound and Palmer St on the inbound, this was due to the construction of a bike lane in Bourke St, even after its completion inbound services are still operating through Palmer St as there is parking on both sides of the road making it difficult to get 2 buses through at once going in both directions.
this looks like chatswood.
