Super Metroid Remastered: Planet Zebes ~ Arrival on Crateria (TX83)

Track 4

Now that everyone's adrenaline has been pumped up with the last few "epic" sounding songs, we're beginning to settle into what makes the bulk of Super Metroid music. That would be ambient/atmospheric tracks.

We last left Samus as she escaped the explosion at the Space Colony. This song begins with her entering Zebes atmosphere followed by her arrival on Crateria. Just like the original it's raining outside. I actually used some in-game samples for the ship door opening and blaster/door. The melody part of the song is split into two parts. Outside and inside/underground.

This song is actually kind of special too because it's the first time I've ever played live electric guitar in a song of mine, granted it's very minimal, haha.

The song brings me right back to my first time playing the game on christmass morning and i remember the street and my best friends house completely in covered in snow. Thanks man
