I go to the school and yes students were chased down by police and threatened to be tazed last year after a walk out about budget cuts where the administration threatened to cut all extracurricular activities. Someone needs to stand up and sue the administration for suppressing our freedom of speech by threatening us

Just got this in from a BigBar Radio listener....." Police responded to Shelton High School today after students refused to return to class as they voiced their concerns about school budget cuts. About 100 students walked out of the building & that's when the principal called police to help get the students back into class. Student organizers say they were threatened. "They said if we don't go in we were going to get tazed & arrested so I went inside,"

the whole incident with the 60 kids getting called to the office for what they wrote on the internet was true...i was one of the kids but this is a funny story..i dont even attend the highschool no more i graduated last year and my friend sent me a text saying that my name was called down to the office...its ridiculous..the only thing that me and the other kids wrote on the internet was #teamtate

Thank god I moved to Stratford If I was still in Shelton I would have suffered. I really feel sorry for all the students at Shelton High School especially James Tate
