@spacitydrummer4JC nothing about being cool necessarily. it makes music exciting and different. also, i remember reading an interview with the bass player of killswitch engage stating that because has a limited knowledge of music theory that when he writes songs they tend to be in odd time. its all about personal preference and what "feels" and sounds good to the musician and hopefully other people will dig it.

Saw them a couple of days ago in Connecticut and the show was flawless.
You can't overstate how tricky the timing is in this song. The entire band is comprised of four of the most brilliant characters in the history of rock and metal.
