My cousin and friend... Gary Truitt was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident in Flower Mound Texas on May 31, 2011 when a distracted 22 year old motorist pulled out in front of him from a parking lot exit.
Gary was loving husband to Linda and proud Father to son Michael. He was a Vietnam Veteran and a former member of the Special Forces Green Beret. A member of the Southern Cruiser and Patriot Guard. Gary, along with his Southern Cruisers group religiously went to the DFW Airport every Sunday to greet returning veterans. They also regularly held benefits and charity rides for St. Jude Children's Hospital.
