hard-working individuals are the future of America not fragmented races. if the current elected officials believe in a strong economy, then why is the dollar worth less now than it was 10 days ago? furthermore, why is the national debt more than $12Trillion ($40,000 per citizen)? and why do we allow them to confiscate our rights one by one?

@carpetasrock JFK was in reality a mediocre president at best. He accomplished little domestically and proved ineffective at properly handling foreign policy issues.
JFK became the good president you hear about only after his death. After his assassination, over 70% of the American people claimed to have voted for him in the 1960 election; when in reality far fewer did. One ought not enlarge him in death beyond what he was in life.
To say that Kennedy was not so bad but Reagen was awful, is telling of what political party you support. They basiclly were both great men who had great ideas. The difference is that Reagen took office in the middle of a mess and left a better country. Kennedy took the office and never got to finish. His ideas were great though.
A couple of comments for Pinky, 1. Read lumpagogo's comments, very wise. 2. Politics is a dirty, nasty, cutthroat business. You don't get to be president unless you're tough as nails. 3. Take a look at "An Unfinished Life" by Robert Dallek, the best recent bio of JFK. 4. Be advised that while Kennedy's father Joe obviously supplied a lot of financial help to his career, no one can force anyone to vote for someone they don't like.

If I could go back in time and talk to Kennedy i'd say one thing- "Duck!"
