Four Hawker Stormbirds: a Typhoon Mk.Ib, a Tempest Mk.II, a Tempest Mk.V, and a Tempest Mk.VI. All aircraft were based from basic 1:48 model kits. The Tempest II and Tempest VI were major conversions. For more info regarding the Tempest VI go to www.hawkerhobbies.com.

  • Nice, very nice. Those hawkers were huge :)

  • Thanks for your comment! The Typhoon, Tempest series of aircraft are among my all time favorite airplanes. That is why I built the "somewhat" exotic 1:48 scale Tempest II and Tempest VI models. Both of these models can only be built from extensive conversions of the regular 1:48 scale eduard WWII Tempest V kit. Currently, the Eduard kit is out-of-production, but at my website I sell a nice 1:72 scale Revel of Germany 1:72 scale Tempest V kit.

  • Beautiful job!

  • thanks!

  • I have that one but haven't got around to building it ;) Quite simple, few pieces.
