Oh, a tip. How about you overlay the MP3 you use for the music with the video. It makes the audio a lot less scratchy and is very easy to do in Windows Movie Maker.
And perhaps changing the lighting a bit would help. Try closing the curtains and turning on a light that's off camera. It should help light the face up a bit. Necessary for a lip sync video to get more views
