99% of cars are front wheel drive , the only common exception is BMW who still make rear drive. Find some gravel , grass or snow and do a little wheel spin.
makes the written instructions that came with them make sense - thanks - now I'll go out and practice - but how do I know if my hire car is front or rear wheel drive?
Thanks for this - received snow chains from you yesterday. Thought I'd have a practice at putting them on but paper instructions made litle sense to a 1st time user like me. Watching your video made it all clear (& made the paper instructions make sense when I went back to them). Put them on in no time. Had a couple of practise runs fitting them now & can't wait for the bad weather to hit!! : )

Try the other option. Spend a night in your car, stuck in the snow.
