Steam Engine Driven Reversible Five Furrow Plough, circa 1918

Another video taken at the West Grinstead Ploughing Match on the 19 September 2009 of the steam engine driven reversible five furrow plough. The steam engines and plough are over 90 years old. Two engines located at either end of the field pull the plough backwards and forwards. Soil compaction would be reduced and loss of engine power through tyre slip is clearly not a problem.
