A short trip up Broom channel in langstone harbour. Factual inaccuarys beware!!! it is not a quary, just a wharf! and it is not locks sailing school. sorry about that.

  • I love the idea of fishing while out in the dinghy. I think I'll try it later this spring. I don't have a rod holder set up yet. How's that style of holder working for you?

  • Hi Peter. I used to sail from the outdoor education centre near the Tudor club as a school boy back in the 90s. I now live near the Brecon Beacons (strangely enough when considering your walking vids!) and do a lot of hiking/paddling/general outdoor silliness. I've just ordered a bermudan sailing rig for my 16ft open canoe and am looking forward to using it on some of the wider, slower sections of the river Wye. Would love to join you in Langstone for some nostalgia!
