AIRBUS A380 LANDING AT OSHKOSH 2009 AIRVENTURE

THIS IS FINAL APPROACH AND LANDING OF THE AIRBUS A380 JET AS IT LANDS AT THE EAA AIRVENTURE EXPO 2009. CAMERA POSITIONED 2000 FEET FROM BEGINNING OF RUNWAY 36. WINDS WERE 260 AT 10 GUSTING TO 17. SO THIS WAS A LANDING WITH A REAR LEFT SIDE CROSSWIND. FULL STOP WITHIN 5000 FEET AS IT WAS ABLE TO PULL STRAIGHT IN TO THE PAVILION. IF YOU NOTICE THE JET IS AIMED OFF CENTER AND TO ITS LEFT DUE TO CROSS WIND JUST BEFORE TOUCHDOWN WHICH GIVE THE EFFECT OF THE A380 AIMED RIGHT AT THE CAMERA.

@dman15333 The A380 was initially planned without thrust reversers, being designed to have enough braking capacity to do without them. However Airbus elected to fit the two inboard engines with thrust reversers in a late stage of development.
