@isaiahb26 I don't know if he does it this way, but there are different shades of pencils (H being the lightest and 6B being the darkest) I use these types of value pencils a lot. By the way, a 6B pencil can get that much darkness into your drawings, just put more pressure on it. If you hold the pencil at the end, it will be lighter. If you hold it near the tip, it will be darker.
