WICKSTEED PARK KETTERING UK ANNUAL FIREWORKS DISPLAY 2009

The children loved it. I dont think themusic used during the display was very good, last years was so much better, but thats my own personal opinion. The Wicksteed entertainment group was superb, and the BBC RADIO NORTHAMPTON was not too bad. Again if I am to be honest, the one they had last year interacted more with the crowd. I think because they were in a hurry, the comeptiton they ran, was a total screw up. The staff went and got 3 Kids and 3 Adults, then they had to name 10 artists from 10 songs they played. They all got goody bags, the winner, won tickets to see the Wicky Circus. The 6 people they chose, kids and adults were all from the same family, apart from one little girl, who was a friend of the family. So they could not lose whatever happened lol

The Guardian of Light is a sculpture some guy did, but anyways, The Radio Presenter, sounded as enthusiastic about it as the rest of us, simply saying. very good LOL Such a big build up to thelighting of "The Guardian of light"

As per the norm, a small fun fair was on site with the usual Candy Floss, sweets, drinks and rides etc...


Well, we had a great night out, and this is some of the highlights of that evening, Hope you all enjoy the video. Like I said, last year for me, was a lot better.

Aw; that looked a good night Phil, Mmmmm hot sugary doughnuts. Everything for a fun night, did you partake on the fare-ground I used to love them when I was younger but just looking at some rides in the big parks make me feel dizzy. Thank you Phil for sharing your family night with us x♥x
