The second riffle bends the cards less than the first one? Or is it just me? =P

When I riffle, the cards just plant on the table in one stack, and the other half fals above that... I cant get a good start at riffling

I have smaller hands because im preteen, and I find it easier to do the same,but put my fingers at the TOP of the cards, on the inside, instead of far back
