Chuck Missler

"And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of Man." The emergence of the "Nephilim" was what brought about the Flood of Noah. Who were they? Is the current interest in the possibility of "alien" involvements some how of Biblical relevance? The Nephilim Genesis 6 indicates that the "sons of God" (B'nai Elohim) took wives of the "daughters of men," which gave birth to the "Nephilim." What on earth was going on? The B'nai Elohim is a term that refers to angels. It occurs four times in the Old Testament 2 and is rendered "Angels of God" in the ancient Septuagin translation.3 The intrusion of certain angels into the human family resulted in unnatural offspring termed Nephilim, which derives from the Hebrew naphal (to fall), or the Fallen Ones. (The Greek Septuagint renders this term gigantes, which actually means "earth-born." This is often misunderstood to mean "giants"--which they also happen to have been, incidentally.)

  • @cavies4ever Wrong.

  • @jinkyfc NASB, ESV, NKJV are all good versions. ESV tends to be calvinistic here and there. NIV can be good for breaking things down, but you should always have two Bible versions when studying, and strongs Definitions. They're even more important.

But yeah, you can get a majority Text Bible (New King James, or King James) and Alexzandarian (NASB, ESV, NIV, New Living translation) in order of literal to thought for thought. ;)

  • I was like really interested in this up until he started demonizing Palestinians, like every other "Christian" Zionist loser hack. The earlier parts were interesting, but I can't buy into it because of his pro-modern "Israel" stance.

  • The difficulty I have with your theory is that fallen angels are not referred to as Sons of God. You will notice that when satan appears with the Sons of God in Job, he is not called a Son of God. Sons of God are led by God and are blameless according to Phil. 2:15 and Romans 8:18. There is yet another theory to be considered...Genetic mutation. The daughters of men were genetic mutations by men. Consider the superior intellect of those nearest creation...living so long.

  • @united1500 I think the best thing to do is to learn hebrew and greek to learn the original text of the bible

  • Id suggest everyone read the Old Testament in the Original Hebrew, and the New Testament in Greek.

In my opinion, it gives the most sound version.

  • Amen brother I agree, king james bible ftw. Many bibles have been corrupted to water down gods true word. In the book of revelation in the last chapter it warns about changing and adding words to the bible. Taking away their name from the book of life, and adding plagues to them so yeah your absolutely correct king james is the way to go.

  • Thank you for your reply.

This man is full of contradictions. eg: Cain's desendants were godly! Then talks about God's instructions to take over Cain. The list goes on and on.

Godly men married ungodly women. Period.
