  • That was beautiful.

  • I guess I'll be the first one to say it: Selick > Burton.

  • i love both selick and burton but my favorite is definitely selick + burton... :3

  • beautiful) coraline alike::)

  • @tredlow I ment the reasons he did Alice are for the same reasons he did Batman. (plus it wasn't dark or gritty) Dark Shadows isn't just a vampire flick, and his not even doing Monsterpocalypse.

  • @MephProduction

    1989 Batman was a reinvention of the character, showing him in a darker light, and also it was NEW back then. Nowadays, that style has been overdone. Look at Big Fish and Mars Attacks. Tim used to make movies outside the dark and gritty palette he's been doing lately. I thought Corpse Bride and Charlie was charming, but I didn't feel much about Todd, I didn't like Alice, and now he's making a vampire flick. Now, his only project I look forward to is Monsterpocalypse.

  • @tredlow Alice in 2010 was no different then Batman on 89 . they are stepping stones, it was part of his two movie deal with Disney, (the other being a black and white stop-motion version if Frankenweenie) Dunno how you can grow out of them.. Christopher lee is i his 90s and Burton is his favorite director lol .perhaps you've lost your imagination? nothing wrong in moving on but that doesn't mean theses film ain't good( Alice was stale id agree but we all make mistakes)
